The resort offers diverse culinary experiences with restaurants and lounges including:
Studio, the resort’s signature restaurant features modern coastal cuisine with California influences. The critically acclaimed restaurant is temporarily closed.

The Loft, an all-day dining restaurant featuring views of the Pacific, serves a light and airy ambiance and creative American cuisine. Offering breakfast, lunch and dinner, along with weekend brunch, the menu reflects the seasons and utilizes local purveyors for the most optimal culinary experience paired with an extensive New and Old World wine list and exceptional service.

Mosaic Bar and Grille, a relaxing bluff-side terrace overlooking the ocean and located near the Mosaic Pool, available for lunch and dinner. Recently refreshed in summer 2024, the oceanfront dining destination offers California-inspired beach fare with choices of salads, grilled sandwiches and fresh daily seafood.

A resort showpiece, the 20,000-square-foot indoor/outdoor oceanfront Spa Montage offers comprehensive programs and a la carte services ranging from herbal and hydrotherapy body treatments to fitness consultation and classes. The oceanfront facilities – with floor-to-ceiling windows that take maximum advantage of the breathtaking vistas – include a full-service beauty salon, an adult-only ocean-facing lap pool, fitness room with state-of-the-art weights and machines, yoga/aerobics studio and spa boutique. A total of 2l treatment rooms include 12 massage rooms, four facial treatment rooms, two hydrotherapy rooms and three specialty indoor/outdoor rooms that can be used for a single or couple’s massage. Separate male and female club-style locker rooms feature a relaxation room with fireplace; shower, steam and sauna area; and an outdoor whirlpool and cold plunge.

Salon

Montage Laguna Beach is home to a full-service salon with celebrity stylists offering personal haircuts, color treatments, highlighting and blow outs. The Salon also provides make-up application and enhanced nail services.

Recreation

The opportunities to take in the breathtaking physical surroundings abound, and they include four pristine white sand beaches, 30 acres of lush landscaping, an impeccably manicured park overlooking the Pacific Ocean and marine tide pools. Nearby are miles and miles of hiking and biking trails in the Aliso and Wood Canyons Wilderness Park and Crystal Cove State Park.

The resort also offers bespoke recreational experiences curated exclusively for Montage Laguna Beach. Guests can enjoy adventures like a private helicopter tour over the Orange County coastline followed by a private picnic on the backcountry of Catalina Island, alongside an Aviara boat charter in Newport Bay Harbor and guided e-bike and kayak tours in Laguna Beach.

On property, the resort’s concierge can arrange additional beach-oriented activities like surfing and stand up paddle boarding.

In addition, Montage guests have access to Laguna Niguel Racquet Club with 22 championship courts. The resort is in close proximity to three area golf courses: Monarch Beach Golf, Talega Golf Club and Ben Brown’s Golf Course at the Ranch at Laguna Beach.

Swimming Pools

Three sparkling swimming pools include the oceanfront Mosaic-tiled, infinity-edged pool with an adjacent whirlpool, a lap pool and children’s pool. Poolside cabanas are available to rent and include a dedicated cabana host and server as well as complimentary bottle of champagne or rosé.

Children’s Programs

Programs for children include Paintbox and Paintbox Petite, the resort’s exclusive club for children ages five to 12 and two to five. Youngsters enjoy thematically planned days that include crafts, arts, games and outdoor recreation in both full- and half-day sessions.

Art Collection

Montage Laguna Beach is situated in one of the country’s foremost artistic communities, so the perpetuation and appreciation of the arts is a key component of the property and its location. To that end, the resort showcases a museum-quality collection of fine art inspired by the Early California Art and Crafts movement, including pieces by such famed plein air artists as Alfred Mitchell, William Wendt, Edgar Payne and Jean Mannheim.

Four works of public art by noted regional artists were commissioned and are on display throughout the resort. These include a porcelain-tiled wall depicting sea life by Dora De Larios (on the spa pool wall facing the ocean); an ornate bronze sculpture of a California landscape by Terry Thornsley (at the ballroom courtyard entrance); an in-laid pate de verre style glass work by John Barber (at the entrance of the resort); and two bronze mythical creatures by Cheryl Ekstom (on the Pacific Lawn).

Meeting Facilities

More than 33,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space include a 7,500- square-foot Grand ballroom (divisible by three), 3,200 square-foot Gallery ballroom (divisible by two) and three additional meeting rooms, including a dedicated board room and one executive meeting suite. Outdoor meeting space features four event lawns. A full-service audio-visual department coordinates all technical needs. In January 2023, the Grand Ballroom, Gallery Ballroom, Boardroom and meeting space foyer underwent a full renovation, featuring a refined coastal design to match the overall décor of the resort.

During the spring 2019 renovation, Montage Laguna Beach placed an emphasis on sustainability and sourcing sustainability-conscious materials and partnerships, whenever possible.
