Kick off the Season with Virgin’s Classic Creativity and Experiential Design: Cherry Blossom Pop-Up at The Pool Club, New Menu at Commons Club, and Seasonal Cocktail Program
Virgin Hotels Dallas, StayBoutique member, is excited to announce the launch of The Pool Club Cherry Blossom pop-up on March 20th, followed by the launch of the new Commons Club Spring menu on April 1st to kick-off the new season. For guests and locals alike, the hotel will be a must-visit destination to enjoy the best of Spring from warmer weather to socially-distanced live music outdoors, stunning views of Dallas, and fresh, seasonal bites and beverages.
In celebration of the first day of Spring on Saturday, March 20, The Pool Club will be unveiling a Cherry Blossom garden pop-up on the fourth-floor rooftop. Taking inspiration from the Japanese Sakura Festival, the al fresco lounge space will be transformed through May 31, adorned with lush cherry blossom stems, and handcrafted origami cranes. A life-sized Cherry Blossom tree will act as the focal point – and Instagrammable photo opp – on the terrace, with skyline views of downtown Dallas as the backdrop. DJ Lucye Lou and Ekow will be spinning tunes to commemorate the March 20 launch from 1-7 p.m.
Throughout the season, The Pool Club Cherry Blossom pop-up will transport guests from the city landscape and provide the perfect garden-inspired experience to enjoy with a beverage in hand. Yannick Augy, Food and Beverage Director of Virgin Hotels Dallas, says, “In addition to the Cherry Blossom pop-up, we’re excited to introduce a new seasonal cocktail menu curated with Grey Goose Essences, Ketel One Botanicals, and Aperol. Sharing a passion for flavor and innovation, the botanically infused spirits and spritz collection will create a unique outdoor drinking experience surrounded by a beautiful Spring garden while enjoying the cityscape views of downtown Dallas.”
Following the Cherry Blossom pop-up, the new Commons Club Spring dinner menu will debut on Thursday, April 1st and include four of the seasonal cocktails also offered at The Pool Club. Menu highlights include several shareable dishes and perfectly embody the essence of Spring flavors:
Garden Crudités: Spring vegetables (cucumber, carrots, radish, turnips, endive, sugar snap peas), field pea hummus
Croquettes: prosciutto, gruyere, green garlic aioli
Ricotta Gnudi: ricotta, spring pea pesto, pistachio, chili garlic crunch
Spring Rack of Lamb: herb-crusted lamb, spring peas, fava, asparagus, mint, chickpea panisse, vadouvan jus
Beef Tartare: beef tenderloin, whipped ricotta, grilled sourdough
Fried Chicken Sandwich (Lunch): brussel sprout slaw, pickled hot peppers, sweet paprika dressing, choice of fries or side of butter lettuce salad
In addition to the new menu, which includes ingredients sourced from local farm partners, Commons Club will offer weekly programming such as music each Thursday from 6-9 p.m. on their spacious outdoor patio and DJs on Friday and Saturday nights from 6 p.m.-1 a.m.

Sakuratini: Grey Goose Essences Strawberry and Lemongrass Vodka, Aperol, dragon fruit, jasmine essence
Orchard Spritz: Ketel One Botanical Peach and Orange Blossom Vodka, Aperol, lychee syrup, orange, lemon, Topo Chico
