The Downtown Clifton was built in 1948 along Stone Avenue, formerly US route 80, which linked Douglas to the south and Phoenix to the north. In 2014, the hotel was purchased from its original owners and lovingly restored into the mid-century, vintage that inspires The Downtown Clifton Hotel. On the western end of the genteel Armory Park neighborhood, facing into the Barrio Viejo, The Downtown Clifton hotel is a part of the heart and soul of downtown Tucson and yet a world apart.We do our best to personalize a curated experience for each guest.
