There are hotels that reference Venice, and then there is The Venice Venice Hotel — a property that proposes an entirely new relationship with the city. Installed in Palazzo Ca’ da Mosto, one of the Grand Canal’s most ancient palaces (once home to the illustrious Leon Bianco, favored haunt of czars, poets, and grand tourists), the hotel nearly surrendered to decay before its visionary resurrection. The concept is postvenetianità — a philosophy that refuses nostalgia and insists instead on the avant-garde soul that has always animated this city, channeling it into rooms where each one carries its own artistic identity: a Pino Musi-dedicated space layered in light and shadow, a gold-drenched homage to fashion and design, a room of radical black-and-white rigor. The Felix Anima Spa, shaped by the artistry of Victoria Zidaru, offers aromatherapy and massage in a dreamlike setting. Just four years after opening, the hotel earned its place among the world’s finest — proof that the most romantic city in the world still has something unprecedented to say.
